This training platform is a comprehensive, compact, integrated smart irrigation system, encompassing an intelligent water‑saving headworks control system, a fertigation system, and various smart irrigation technologies—including multi‑mode sprinkler irrigation, micro‑sprinkler technology, multi‑mode drip irrigation, and subsurface irrigation—along with PLC control, variable‑frequency drive control, pump‑pipe‑valve disassembly and maintenance, energy‑saving solutions, online monitoring, meteorological data collection, and safety features. It covers cutting‑edge smart water‑conservation technologies across the fields of water resources, agriculture, environmental protection, and landscape architecture.

Through hands-on training in selecting and installing initial system equipment, designing and implementing field irrigation methods, commissioning and maintaining intelligent water-saving systems, digitally monitoring operating conditions, conducting pump performance tests and temperature monitoring, as well as managing smart rotational irrigation and the integrated operation and maintenance of fertigation systems, this program cultivates students’ comprehensive practical and innovative capabilities in the design, construction, installation, and operational maintenance of intelligent water-saving systems.
